Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 27, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Revert (revert.day) collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit our website. We take your privacy seriously and are committed to being transparent about our practices.

1. Who We Are

Revert is a free Islamic resource website available at revert.day. We provide educational content, Islamic guides, and tools for people exploring Islam or practicing as Muslims. We are based in Germany and subject to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. What Data We Collect

We collect the minimum data necessary to operate the site. Here is exactly what we collect and why:

2.1 Data You Provide Voluntarily

When you use our contact form, you voluntarily provide your name, email address, and message. This data is transmitted securely to Web3Forms (see Section 4) and delivered to our inbox at hello@revert.day. We use this data solely to respond to your enquiry and do not retain it beyond that purpose. We do not have any registration or login forms on this website.

2.2 Data Collected Automatically

When you visit our website, standard server logs may record your IP address, browser type, and pages visited. This data is used solely for security and technical purposes and is not used to identify you personally.

2.3 Location Data

Our Prayer Times and Qibla Direction tools may request access to your device's location. This happens only when you explicitly click the "My Location" button. Your location data is:

  • Used only to calculate prayer times or Qibla direction
  • Never stored on our servers
  • Never shared with third parties by us
  • Transmitted to AlAdhan.com API and BigDataCloud API solely to perform the calculation

You can use our tools without location access by typing your city name manually.

2.4 Local Storage

Our Quran Reader stores your bookmark locally in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.

3. Cookies

We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. We do not use Google Analytics or any third-party analytics service that tracks individual users across websites.
